Our Story
We're Calling All Cars, a South Wales rock band made up of four passionate members. Our journey began over twenty years ago, rooted in a shared love for guitar-driven rock, intense rehearsals, and the aspiration to play our original songs for anyone willing to listen. Although life took us on different paths, our passion for music never faded away.
In 2023, we reunited in the rehearsal room "just to see what happened." It didn't take long to realize that the chemistry we once had was still alive. The songwriting flowed naturally, the energy surged back, and what started as a reunion quickly transformed into something far more significant.
Since then, we've eagerly dedicated ourselves to writing new music and performing live again, demonstrating that our focus isn't on reliving past successes—it's about crafting the best music we've ever created. Winning Battle of the Bands at The Foundry in 2024 was an exhilarating reminder that we still have plenty of fuel left in the tank. But for us, it’s never been about collecting trophies; it's about composing songs that resonate with listeners and pouring our hearts into every performance.
Our influences are deeply rooted in classic rock—complete with big riffs, compelling melodies, and meaningful lyrics—but we're not about mimicking anyone else's sound. Each new song embodies our current selves: older, wiser, and more determined than ever.
The year 2026 has introduced another thrilling chapter for Calling All Cars with Hicksy joining the band. From our first jam together, it felt like a seamless fit, infusing fresh ideas and energy while adding another layer to our sound. As has been the theme since our reunion, we're committed to not standing still—it's all about evolving, pushing ourselves, and creating the best music possible.
Whether you've been with us since our inception or just recently discovered us, we appreciate you being part of our journey. We've got new music on the horizon, more shows to perform, and we’re just getting started... again.
